       ข้อมูลของ online licensing option จะถูกเก็บอยู่ในตำแหน่ง registry ด้านล่าง :

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Solidworks\Licenses\Online'.

    ในการเปลี่ยนระบบมาเป็น online license, ให้แก้ 'Value data' ของ 'SOLIDWORKS' ให้เป็น ‘1’. ถ้าเป็นระบบ activation license,  'Value data' ของ 'SOLIDWORKS' เป็น ‘0’.

    Online' registry key จะถูกสร้างขึ้นเองอันตโนมัติ เมื่อใช้เป็น online license. หมายความว่าถ้าเปลี่ยนเป็น online licensing บนเครื่องที่ไม่เคยเปลี่ยนมาก่อน ก็จะไม่พบ 'Online' registry 

เพื่อที่จะกำหนด registry key บน machine , แนะนำให้ทำตามขั้นตอนด้านล่างดังนี้:

    - ดาวน์โหลดไฟล์ ‘Online-License-Reg-Key-ON.reg.txt’   ไปที่    Desktop > ลบ '.txt' >  

เลือก Yes > ดับเบิ้ลคลิ๊ก   Online-License-Reg-Key-ON.reg >    เลือก Yes>   เลือก Yes>    เลือก Ok
